I shipped my item(s) but my sale got canceled.

Sometimes things don’t go as expected - like when you’ve sent off a sale, only to find out that the shipping deadline was yesterday.

Updated yesterday

Sales on marko may get canceled if shipping or confirmation processes are not timely followed. This is usually tied to the system's inability to confirm an item's shipment status. To help prevent such cancellations, understanding the shipping and label processes is fundamental.

We’re here to help. If you’ve shipped your item manually (meaning not with our Easy Shipping label), please reach out to our support chat so someone from our team can take a closer look.

👉 When you message us, make sure to include:

  • The order ID (you’ll find this in your Sale Overview)

  • Proof of shipping (like a receipt or tracking slip)

  • The date you shipped the package

This helps us investigate and make sure your shipment gets the attention it deserves.

Sometimes, even if the Post collects your package, it might not get scanned right away. That means our system can’t confirm the shipment in time, and the order gets auto-canceled.

But here’s the good news: Behind the scenes, we’re still checking!

Our system keeps monitoring the shipping status for up to 6 weeks after cancellation. If the tracking updates and your package suddenly gets scanned:

  • You, the buyer, and our team will all get an email notification

  • The order is automatically picked up again by marko

  • 2 days after delivery, if the buyer doesn’t request a return, we complete the order and send your payout 💸

So even if it looks like the order is canceled, don’t panic - we’ve got mechanisms in place to make it right if the tracking comes through late.

⚠️ If you choose not to use marko's shipping label, you must contact marko support by sharing the shipping details. Failure to do so risks cancellation since the system needs explicit confirmation to mark the item as shipped.

When you message us, make sure to include:

  • The order ID (you’ll find this in your Sale Overview)

  • Proof of shipping (like a receipt or tracking slip)

  • The date you shipped the package

Without proper scanning of the shipping label, the application's system lacks the necessary information to confirm the shipment, which could lead to a canceled sale.
