How does it work?
Both buyers and sellers can negotiate prices and send offers.
Buyer offers
Tap “Make an Offer” on any item page.
Choose a preset discount, like 15%, or enter your own custom offer.
The seller has 48 hours to accept or decline. They’ll get a push and email notification, so your offer won’t get missed.
☝️ Good to know: If the seller has already sent you an offer, you’ll need to decline it first before sending a counter-offer.
Seller offers
Tap “Make an Offer” in your existing chat with the buyer.
Choose a preset discount, like 15%, or enter your own custom offer.
The buyer has 48 hours to purchase the item at your offered price. They’ll receive a push and email notification so your offer won’t go unnoticed. They can proceed directly to checkout, no need to “accept” first.
☝️ Good to know: If the buyer has already sent you an offer, you’ll need to decline it first before sending a counter-offer.
Special Seller: Send offers to buyers who added your item to their cart
As seller, you can also proactively send offers to all buyers who have added your item to their cart, even if you haven't had messaged each other yet.
This is useful when buyers show interest but haven’t completed their purchase.
Go to My Listings
Tap the ⋮ menu on your item
Select Send offer to cart holders
Choose a discount
Confirm to send the offer
The offer will appear in the buyer's chat, and trigger a notification. If multiple buyers have your item in their cart, the offer is sent to each buyer individually. This offer also stays valid for 48 hours.
☝️ Keep in mind: You can only have one active offer per buyer for the same item. If an offer is already active, you’ll need to wait until it expires before sending another one.
What happens if my offer is accepted?
The item’s price drops just for you for the next 48 hours - your exclusive deal window!
You’ll get a friendly ping (push + email) as soon as it happens.
Heads up: the item isn’t reserved. Others can still buy it at the original or their own negotiated price. So don’t wait too long ⚡
☝️ Keep in mind: when an offer is accepted, the buyer still needs to proceed with the purchase of the item through marko. An order isn't created after an offer is accepted If the buyer does not complete the purchase within the specified time frame, the offer will expire, and the sale will not go through.
What if my offer is declined or ignored?
You’ll get a quick notification if it’s declined.
If there’s no response after 48 hours, your offer expires automatically.
Once expired, you’re free to make a new offer.
Already made an offer but changed your mind? You’ll need to wait until it’s accepted, declined, or expired before sending another one.
Can I make multiple offers?
Absolutely! You can send up to 20 offers per day across different items.
But remember: only one active offer per item at a time. We like to keep things tidy.
Can I delete an offer as a seller?
Once you send an offer to a buyer, it can’t be undone or deleted. Changing the price of your listing also won’t affect any active offer already sent to that buyer.
If you absolutely need to withdraw an offer, you can either delete the listing or contact our support team for assistance.
Any limits on offer amounts?
Your offer has to be below the current listing price.
You can only send offers for items priced at CHF 7.50 or more. Any offers must be CHF 7.50 or more.
The biggest discount you can shoot for is 50% off. That way, negotiations stay fair and fun for both sides 🤑
Where can I track my offers?
Find all your offers, whether you’re buying or selling, right in your Inbox, alongside your chats.
You’ll see the amount, status, and time left for each offer directly in the conversation thread.
