What happens when a listing expires?

To keep marko fresh and relevant for buyers, listings that have been active for a long period of time may automatically expire.

☝️ Keep in mind: when a listing expires, it is not deleted, you can reactivate it anytime from your "Listings" page.

Why did my listing expire?

Listings may expire automatically after being active for a long period of time without being sold. This helps keep marko fresh and relevant for buyers.

What does “expired” mean?

Expired listings are automatically hidden from buyer-facing areas of marko, including:

  • Search results

  • Feeds and recommendations

  • Your public seller profile

Your item is still visible in your account and can be reactivated at any time.

Where can I find my expired listings?

We'll let you know by email when your listings have expired, so you can reactivate them within one click. Else, you can also find them in: Profile → My Listings → Sort by oldest. There, you can:

  • Reactivate listings individually by clicking on

  • Reactivate multiple listings at once using multi-select before clicking on

Once reactivated, the listing becomes visible to buyers again.

What happens when I reactivate a listing?

Reactivating a listing:

  • Returns the item to active status

  • Makes it visible to buyers again

  • Resets the expiration timer

The relisted item may also be treated as a newly relisted listing for visibility and ranking purposes.
